Shocking footage shows a football referee reportedly using a knife to attack a player during a match.
An onlooker’s mobile phone recorded the disturbing incident, capturing the chaos as players from two teams surrounded the referee in the middle of a game in Argentina. When one player began pushing the official, it’s claimed that the referee reacted by stabbing the footballer in the chest.
The player stumbled and then collapsed, requiring assistance from teammates to leave the field.

As the footage ended, the referee, dressed in black and a white cap, was seen jogging away in the opposite direction.
The incident occurred in Scholler, on the outskirts of Eldorado, Misiones province, on Saturday, December 2nd.

Local reports identified the 21-year-old victim, who sustained a punctured lung, only as “Kevin A”. He was swiftly transported to a hospital.
The 62-year-old referee accused of the stabbing has been identified as Remigio Armoa.
Authorities arrested Armoa and confiscated the alleged weapon, releasing a photo of the knife to the media in Argentina.
The player’s uncle, who was not named, informed reporters: “Kevin is miraculously alive. For the family, it is a very delicate moment because he is the Messi of the family.”
“He is a talented footballer, and we are grateful that he had the opportunity to be part of a club like Chacarita.” The uncle mentioned that the 21-year-old had been considering retirement from football to take care of his seven-month-old child, and they are now seeking justice for the incident.
He said: “The family is in shock, and the situation is difficult for us because we always attend his games. We are supporters, and he is a young worker who has recently become a father. All he wants is to enjoy the game, and we never imagined that he would be stabbed and suffer a punctured lung during a soccer match.”
The police’s investigation is ongoing.
